Need Help With My Weeping Pussy Willow Tree

About 3 weeks ago I planted a weeping pussy willow tree. It is extremely healthly looking with lots of buds on them. It looks quite mature in the sense that it is very thick trunked with many thick branches on it. I have had pussy willow bushes before, and usually by this time the pussy willows have already opened. Within the 3 weeks that I have planted it I have not seen any of them open. I am quite concerned. Any suggestions?

How is it looking now?
Many times when I plant a new tree it takes a bit longer to come alive. As long as the buds are soft and the tree is flexible you should wait.
