fallen pine tree needles
We have 3 very large pine trees in our back yard with an accumulation of fallen pine needles below them. If I want to plant hostas, must I remove the needles, or can they remain as mulch? I do not know what the needles have done to the qualify of the soil. Thank you for your help.
