Help ID'ing my trees

I have 3 of these trees on the side of my front yard, and I don't know what they are! We moved here 2 years ago. I have kept them pruned as they are - I like how they look (I know I need to get the little shoots at the bottoms). Last spring/early summer, they flowered a bit - I actually thought it was just new leaves, but it didn't happen this year so I'm guessing it was small flowers. I am assuming that I pruned too late in the fall/winter, and that is why they didn't bloom this year. I wish I had more info on them, but I don't know how old they are or how long they have been here. I like them, but I want to learn more about them so I can do right by them! I'm in zone 7 - Western SC.

This is a Ligustrum - a privet.
JC Raulston Arboretum could ID the species for you
It may be the cultivar - 'Davidson's Hardy'

Thanks so much - it's definitely a ligustrum. I do think that I sheared/pruned it a little too late and cut off the blooms. Now, I know when I can prune it!

As for the specific cultivar, from what I read about Davidson's Hardy, that one grows fast - I think it said 15" a year. These haven't grown that much - at least so far. I hope they don't, because they are at a perfect height now - probably about 8 feet (tall enough for me to use a pole saw to trim the upper most shoots).
