Weeping Pussy Willow Plant

I recently bought, in a small pot, a weeping pussy willow. The catkins were on it when I bought it. I kept it in the house. When they fell off, and the weather warmed, I wanted to plant it outside.

Do these pussy willows need sun and/or shade, and can they grow in a rather sandy soil. I don't know how tall they get, I lost the card that came with it.

Please help, it's such a pretty green plant right now, it's sitting int he original pot out on my deck. Thanks for any help!

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there.

Louise
