Planting my tree

Sorry if this may seem like spamming but I want to know step by step if its not too much trouble how I should do this.

This week my 1 foot BARE ROOT Kwanzan cherry tree will come. I live in houston texas 77014. As you know I have that Clay soil Real hard clay soil. What are the steps I need to preform so I can have this plant successfully grow. I am new to planting!

I cleared the area but I have not started digging yet!

Several members have provided advice in your other thread on this same topic here.

I will lock this thread to avoid duplicate discussions, which are against forum guidelines. Why are they against forum guidelines?

1) People who have responded to the first thread tend to believe that the first thread has been "lost" or perhaps even deleted and panic, because they worked to compose their response and now it's "not here anymore," even though it is still here.

2) If someone in the future wants to know about planting Kwanzan cherry trees--and, according to the search I just performed, there have been several previous threads on these trees--it's less confusing if the information is in one place. Going back and forth between multiple threads on the very same aspect regarding a given plant can get disorienting/befuddling.
