Flower Plum (Krauter Vesuvius)

I have 2 of these trees which are about 10 years old and are very full and healthy looking. One problem - they basically don't flower. I use fertilizing stakes in October but to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks

Too much nitrogen can cause plants to create a lot of vegetation but no flower, so you may be over fertilizing :).
