Hey guys I just planted a weeping yoshino and it is not doing well all the leaves are dying most of them turned yellow and dried up and even the new buds die before they can even sprout, though some of the new leaves are still there there is like three of them left but even they look like they are dying, what might be the problem
It could be proper planting procedure. Dig up some of the backfill then tamp down the soil with the end of your shovel then water, then the backfill. Spray the plant with a fine mist in the evening. If it's in a windy sunny location you could have a another problem and if it is that mist the plant every evening.
