I bought a ultra dwarf peach and nectraine tree about this time last year and never got around to transplanting them. They had a few little fruits starting on them since I had planned on transplanting them I pinched them off so the energy could go into building a strong root system. Now I have finally transplanted them into massive pots and there are 3 little fruits on them..I really don't want to pinch them off they are so cute what are your thoughts on that?
Also for fertilizer I have read that about a week after transplanting I should fertilize, is that still true if mine is fruiting already? And I have read a 10-10-10 is best or anything with equal parts but I have also seen posts emphasizing potash... I also have read good things about bone meal... Any input would greatly be appreciated! I have done veggies for a while but I am a total newb to fruit trees. Thanks!
