Leaves turning red! Powdery mildew!

I have a four year old service berry that is suffering. The leaves are turning red, I think I have powdery mildew and there is white fluff stuck ton the leaves. The bark looks fine. Should I spread compost at it's base and hope for the best? I live in Toronto

Are you sure it is powdery mildew? It normally occurs in warm climates. Use baking soda or neem oil. When you rake the leaves in the fall discard them do not compost if it is.

Looks like powdery mildew. Grey blotches on the leaves. I have given it a good soak and keeping fingers crossed.
