When is the best time to move a Smokebush? If I move it now will I risk killing it? We are experiencing some warm temperatures this weekend, or should I wait until the spring? The smokebush is only 1 1/2 years old and still small (approximately 2 feet tall). Thank you

Hi Min,
I would say to wait until early spring just before the buds break to move it. If you move it now the roots may not have enough time to establish before a hard freeze, which could take 6 weeks.

Does anyone else have any experience in moving a smokebush? I know that with conifers, the best time to move them is the fall but, I have no experience with a smokebush.
Any and all advice welcome!

You are most welcome Min.
Still there must be some members out there who have moved a smokebush. Anybody know anything that they would like to share?
