Need to prune my viburnums!

I've let these get out of control and would like to prune them down to about 4 feet. They're about 8 feet now. If I do this do you think they'll be okay? Thanks!

Not a problem if you hurry or wait until fall. Take out the oldest largest stems first to keep the plant young, then fertilze and maybe amend the soil down to six inches. Don't try to make the plants square. Do some now then do some in the fall for a sharper look.
