There's an unknown plant that has sprung up in my garden bed... It's so plain and green and ordinary looking that it defies description.
Anyone have any ideas.. should I get rid of it, or cultivate?

It's just over a foot high now. It looks like it could grow into some sort of tree?

Oh wow, that is crazy! I love mangoes. However, I did end up pulling it up due to the lack of response on this forum. I thought better to be safe than sorry.
Didn't find the seed though. Not surprised that it found its way into the garden bed. We fill it up from time to time with old compost, which have gathered more than its share of mango seeds.
*SIGH* My yard also does not have space for a mango tree. They take up a lot of room. I already have 2 guavas, 2 bananas, 2 passionfruits, a mulberry AND a mangosteen. I do dream of one day having an orchard of assorted trees including all the above and avocadoes, macadamias, olives, rambutans and mangoes - all living in harmony. Maybe even an apiary or two
Thumbs up bangstrom!
