Moving - honeysuckle & lilac

We're looking at buying a house this winter and I'd really like to take both of our honey suckle and lilac with us to the new place :).

Is it best to wait and grab a clipping right before we move or can i somehow store something (either a new plant or just the clipping?) right now?

You can dig up the plant now but leave it in the hole until you are ready to move but you should prune them back by at least half before you dig. Dig around the dripline to make sure you get enough roots.

Good answer, BT. My thought exactly...
