Ailing Rose of Sharon question
This past year a small Cyprus evergreen was damaged from the winter snow. After failing to save it we cut it down and removed as much of the trunk and roots as possible. We then planted a Rose of Sharon small tree in the same spot. The ROS has only been in place for a month but but it has some yellowish leaves and many buds that are not opening. We have it in full sun and in well drained soil. Any advice? Is it the Cyprus tree causing the trouble? Thanks!
