Intruders-- shrub & weed ID needed!

Hi all, can any one help. I have these intruders coming up in my lawn and border. One of them seems to be some sort of shrub sucker but I can not identify it and I am almost sure the other is a weed. Can some one please help with these.

Mainly, I'm giving your post a more descriptive title so that some of our people who are really good at ID's may notice it and giving it a little bump up.

Your shrub is looking very familiar to me, but I'm not quite sure... possibly viburnum?
