I have a Natchez Crepe Myrtle in the front yard whose branches are breaking under the weight of the blooms. I got a new lawn guy and forgot make arrangements for the annual pruning. Should I go ahead and prune now or wait until later in the summer? I've spotted at least one broken branch already. Otherwise abundantly healthy...no matter much my ignorance and procrastination tries to kill it!
Any advice to this novice DIY gardener would be helpful.
