For years I have loved the smell of a certain bush/shrub that grows in western pennsylvania. It has a very sweet, musty smell and is extremely fragrant. I have been trying to figure out what was making the smell for years as I would be out and about. This morning, finally, I was able to pin point it as I walked by one. I clipped a branch and took pictures when I got home. Can someone please look at the pictures and let me know what this is? I really want to put some in my yard. If it is any help, it blooms this time of year in w. pa and has dull thumb sized leaves, pale off-white blooms in clusters that are about the same size as the leaves, at least on the one I found, which looked to be mature.
Your help would be greatly appreciated!!
