Queen Palms sold in Ohio?!

At one of our local nurserys I saw the craziest thing! Queen Palms being sold in Ohio! In zone 5b/6a! So I do love palms, but how is it possible to grow them where I live? I might buy them if it is possible :D!

I don't think so... it is supposed to be somewhat frost tolerant, hardy MAYBE to 20 degrees. But NOT to -20! Don't know what they were thinking! If you had a (BIG) greenhouse maybe.

But Wiki has a good article on hardy palms if you are looking for some you could grow:

try windmill palm, dwarf palmetto!

Well currently I'm growing a windmill palm! I'm going to get a Pindo/Jelly Palm! It's my 2nd favorite Palm Tree and 3rd most cold hardy!
I don't know why there selling queen palms.
