You are entirely correct.... I would have never found that. Once you identified it I was able to find a website that instructed on pruning. My tree/shrub is way out of control. I inherited it when I moved in to my house and had no idea it wasn't supposed to grow so wide or tall.
What a great website this is..... will definately make use of it in the future.
