Propogating Crape Myrtle from a Cutting?

As I'm watching my Crape Myrtle leaf out and grow by what seems inches a day. I'm wondering if it's possible to root a cutting to start a new tree?

Any help would be appreciated.

They root fairly easily. Use softwood cuttings from new shoots. Try late May or early June. You can use some rooting horomone or just let them sit.
