Concerned about my flowering cherry tree

I have had a flowering cherry tree for the past 3 years. It is about 8 foot high, so still pretty young. It bloomed this spring and was beautiful, but Ive noticed this summer that the leaves have brown spots on them. Is this a disease?

It could be nothing more then a shortage of water, drying at the end of the leaves.

mine is doing this too. I posted about a month ago with pics but didn't get any reply. the leaves are still yellowing with some brown spots, and now are falling off. some of the branches are almost bare, while others still have all the leaves, so I would appreciate any additional info you might get from this post :)
btw, it is a snow fountain cherry.
