growing like a vine, or like a tree, kinda hard to tell.

if tree-like (my guess) maybe catawba, or maybe paulownia?

I have a catalpa tree and that doesn't quite look like it, but since I don't know what it IS, I can't really rule out catalpa.

The leaf reminds me of a redbud tree.

Here's an image of a redbud leaf. The shape and veining of the leaves of your plant and this leaf looks identical to me. JMO, though. [img]https://bestsmileys.com/clueless/4.gif[/img]
