Help! Is my red maple dying??

I purchased a red maple a few months ago. At first it was doing great, now it has developed these brown spots all over the leaves and the leaves seem to be turning an orange/brown. What's wrong with my tree??

Photo link does not work, so this harder tham it should be. Brown spots sound like a blight of some sort. If you can't spray the tree, the next best think is to rake up all the leaves in the autumn and BURN them of take them to the dump. If the condition is fungal then the spores overwinter on the leaves and removing them breaks the cycle. whatever you do, don't compost them
