"Mold" on plane tree and bushes
We have a large plane tree in our back yard. Last year, I noticed what looked like mold on two bushes in the yard (no idea what they are). This year, it's also on some of the leaves on the plane tree. I saw the exact same thing on another plane tree further down the street. Does anyone know what this might be and what I should do about it?
Welcome to the Helpful Gardener!
It might be something as common as powdery mildew. Any chance you could post some pictures for us? Instructions for posting pictures on this forum can be found in our Webmaster's Tips & Suggestions for New Members.

Yes, that looks like powdery mildew to me. Colorado State University offers this article on the subject.
In addition, there has been quite a lot of excellent advice written by members of the Helpful Gardener, in regard to organic methods of treating fungal diseases. You may want to type powdery mildew into the search box on the upper left of the page, to take advantage of the information shared by those experienced gardeners.
I think you may find a spray of 1 part milk to 10 parts water to be an effective solution.
