Need help IDing this tree

As you can see the bark is practically peeling, and falling from this tree. It has really droopy limbs too. We have alot of these around my apartment complex. I was just curious as to what kind of tree this is.

Thanks ever so kindly. Their leaves when crushed between your fingers has a nice aromatic smell.
