Tree roots and a gravel driveway questions

I Just had a thought... I know soil compaction is no good for tree roots. I planted my Tulip tree in the beginning of April. It is about 5 feet from my gravel drive way. When the roots start to grow and spread under the driveway is driving on it going to harm my tree? If so what can I do?? How fast do the roots grow on a tulip tree?? Also it is not my main drive way. It is for my convertible which I only take out every now and then. its not like a car will be driving over it every day. Any suggestions??

You wouldn't have to worry about the winter but it probably still hasn't grown out of its ball, if it was B & B so I would move it another 5 feet away from the drive. The worst time would be after a rain.
