Forsythia Bush
We have a forsythia bush that we have had for several years. It never blooms very good. I have tried not cutting it back in the fall. Nothing I do seems to help it to bloom in the spring. It is a bush that we transplanted from another part of the yard and I wonder if that could have anything to do with it not blooming. Any tips would be appreciated.

The only thing that I can think of is to give it a good dose of wood ashes or bloom promoting fertilizer. Ours is planted in slightly acid soid in full sun. The soil is quite poor but the plant is growing and blooming very well. I guess sunlight could also be a possible issue the plant does not get an adequate amount of full sun.
