Planting cherry blossoms in tropical atmosphere

Hi
I was wondering if there is any complication in planting Cherry Blossoms in tropical atmosphere? I am talking about the Somei Yoshino type of cherry blossoms. its a very humid and hot atmosphere so I hope you can give me the heads up on any probs with it.
