Dipel

This is to follow up on a question I posted earlier about tomato worms. I went to the store to buy some Dipel and right there on the container of Dipel dust was a warning to not use on vegetables grown for human consumption or commercial use. It said it was intended for use on ornamental plants only. Is this because it's in the dust form? Is the spray form less toxic?

I guess so, I've never used Dipel myself. I was told by a commercial organic grower from Ontario that he uses it. And he does use the spray.
