How Long After Flowering does a Tomato Give Fruit? *Pics*

I know people have posted questions about having blooms on their tomatoes and not fruit but I was wondering how long after the flowers show up should you see tomatoes?

I have had flower for over a week at least but not tomatoes.

I'd give them a couple of weeks to a month. If you have plenty of flowers, you can gently shake the plant to make sure they get fertilized, thus creating baby tomatoes. Another method is to use a small artist's brush or a Q-tip to transfer pollen from flower to flower. :)

Thanks,

I guess I don't remember it being a long process from flowers to tomatoes in my gardens as a kid... But then again it really wasn't my garden so I did not pay that close attention. Just goes to show you that as a new gardener you can be very impatient! lol
