change soil every year for growing tomato?

Hi everybody,
I'm a new gardener and I'm not sure if I need to change the soil every year in the pot for my cherry tomatoes. I'm going to buy some potting soil and mannure and some compost mix together in a 5 gallon pot and put the cherry tomato plants in there. Hopefully, they will grow happily and healthy for this summer.
Please let me know if I need to dump all the soil after the harvest is done and buy the same soil for the next year to start all over again.

If your growing in containers I wouldn't use potting soil, but rather potting mix,,potting soil can get too compact in a container..I would do away with the old stuff and buy some new stuff...

I would repot after each year.
I would not simply throw away the old soil though.
Start a small compost pile and add that to your pile.
