Branch from cluster? Confused tomato plant

I had to look twice when looking to see where this 'sucker' came from. First time seeing this! Had to share.

Yeah, those things are weird. I haven't seen any yet this year, but had them growing on three different varieties last year, and a number of them on Matt's Wild Cherry a couple of years ago. One even did a fruit cluster -> vine -> fruit cluster -> vine.

Trying to remember if I've seen them all only on Cherry varieties... But wait, last year one was a golfball sized saladettes.
