Rains came ,blight came, Tomatoes went!
It looks that way in Pa. this june with way to much rain. I already pulled out a few tomatoes with dried up lower stems! Not sure what to do?

It is not too late to replant. Dig a 8" hole put in 1/2 teaspoon copper sulfate and 1 tablespoon lime pellets and 1 pint of water. This will keep away blight. Also add about 1/4 cup 15/15/15 fertilizer and a hand full of dirt to cover up the fertilizer. Plant the plant deep the stem will grow roots any place the soil touches it. The whole stem will turn into roots and the plant will grow much faster than before.
I have pulled up many, many plants this year. They grew well, even with the weird wet/late chill spring that we had. But I have had lots of BER, and, as you say, the blight took over. I pulled up more plants just today and planted corn.
Sad thing is the plants have put on some beautiful fruit, but the vines are checking out:
