Here are the first green fruit of the first cross I have ever made, Fiaschetto di Manduria x Cherokee Chocolate. First two pics are pics of the parent varieties.

That is looking impressive! Nice production. :D
It's interesting how the shape went globe. 8)

Keep us posted -- I would like to see the final color, and DEFINITELY let us know how they taste! :-()

My hat is off to you, Sicilianu!

I tried hybridizing last year and failed. The task may be too much for me and my fumbling, bumbling digitS'!

DW says that she will loan me her tweezers to remove petals and anthers. I don't know if they will help. I tried using tiny, sharp scissors last time. Came up with that idea on my own. It doesn't seem to have been a good one. The flowers self-pollinated despite my tampering.

Those look nice how about taste. It seems production was pretty decent. Nice job on the cross.
