Okay it was no super whopper but 2 lbs + isn't so bad for a fruit with a few more lb'rs + on the same truss. Lehrertomate. My daughter loves tomatoes, she just woke up when I was taking pics of this. I when up and asked her if she wanted a snack and dropped it in her lap. She looked at me like an I am crazy, she knows me oh so well. P-)That is when I noticed the tomato is as big as her head. (rofl)

Yeah well Pennsylvania66 is working on a possible 4 lb'r. who knows what else is out there. Many other giant growers out there doing BIG things. Word of at least one more BIG one going on in Finland right now. A grower known for doing it BIG!!
I'm just a backyard gardener, keeping it real.

My biggest so far is a Casey's Pure Yellow that grew to be 3 oz shy of 2 lbs. without doing anything special -- so variety certainly makes the difference. It is FUN to have these whoppers coming out of the garden.
I can see how you can get hooked on trying to grow bigger tomato than the last year's every year.
Good luck !
