The payoff . . .

I just got back from my 11 day trip abroad, and I have tomatoes!!!

I have a few Cherokee Purples, 3x that many Lemon Boys (off camera), and a very few undersized Brandywine Pinks.

Here are the CPs and Lemon Boys, done up for dinner:

Funny timing. My garden is by far the mostest-awesomest its ever been...by leaps and bounds. I have not yet harvested one tomato, but there are tons of awesome looking fruit on the vines. I leave Wednesday for about 11 days away. I have a "garden sitter", but still...not sure how its going to work out. I've dumped so much effort into the garden, and I fear coming back to a bunch of dead plants. We'll see what happens...

Heh. Read what happened during my 11 day trip.

Request that your garden sitter send you pictures every 2-3 days.
