What is this on my tomato leaves?

Only a few leaves are affected. Please tell me it's from an insect or that it's normal or something. The affected portions are a little "crunchy" for lack of a better term. The plant is otherwise doing fantastic, growing well, blooming, no wilting, more than three feet tall now... Oh, I should add that the spots are not just sitting on the surface of the leaf. The bottom is also affected in the same spot. I have not used any pesticides or herbicides of any kind. There has been a fair amount of rain last week, and perhaps a little wind, though not a lot or anything. Could it be weather related?

Just limited damage from one source or another. No likely any kind of disease or other problem that would spread.

I seem to be getting that on all my veggies. I assumed it was a bug of some sort. We have a bunch of Japanese beetles eating our trees so I figured they found their way to my garden also.
