I have a dwarf Patio Tomato growing. it is doing fairly well. I buried it a little bit deeper and it is nice and happy.
it makes an appearance in my garden tour video in my signature.
I am trying all of my tomatoes this year in containers that are not self watering. I had them in the garden in 2011 and in a self watering container 2012 and did not have great luck.

I have grown patio, tumbling tom and now I am growing New big dwarf. I just picked my first fruit but I haven't tasted them yet. Considering that the birds and slugs went after the green tomatoes, I'm expecting something better than what is in the stores.
The thing about dwarfs and determinates in general is that they ripen most of the fruit all at once, so it is feast or famine. My better tomatoes, flavor wise have been the indeterminates.
