Container Tomato Question
This year is my first try at gardening. I am renting so most of my plants are container plants. I happened to buy a good sized plant the other day at Lowe's. It was about 2-3 ft high and in a decent sized container. All my other plants I put in containers myself with potting soil. The problem is the soil in the Lowe's bought plant (Bonnie Brand) seems very dense compared to my other plants. I don't have a lot of confidence in this soil even after I added coffee grounds at the base of the plant (about 1-2 tbsp). Should I transplant this tomato plant in good potting soil? Thanks for your advice.
