Looking great! Bet you will be the first in the neighborhood, or entire city, to enjoy home grown tomatoes. My vines are larger, but your fruit is more advanced. I started later this year and the weather was a lot cooler with many more indoor days for the plants. Last year picked our first fruit the last week in April. This year, we will be lucky to harvest a ripe tomato before the end of May. We have some full sized cherry tomatoes, but no signs of ripening yet. Will post a few photos tomorrow if time and memory permit.

Yes please do Alex I love seeing your progress, you always do very well.

I should have mentioned these are all dwarfs that were planted many moons ago. Don't let the plant to fruit size fool you. My regular indeterminates are still with no fruit but bigger plants than these.

Looking really good. Do you have to protect your tomatoes from birds?

Tomato progress:

We have about 10-12 clusters of full sized tomatoes whose largest fruit is now about 1.5-2.0 inches in diameter. Most are on our determinate plants. In general fruiting clusters are much less abundant than in most years.

A few photos of some of the larger clusters of fruit.

My word Alex, those are fabulous. Not sure what you are doing but don't change it bro. 8)

You are so far ahead, amazing how that works. Have you had any late frost. I have a friend in Mississippi that lost a few at least once if you can believe that. I know my people up north are hurting right now. I was heartbroken today when I woke up and saw frost on my neighbors roof. Than found and thick layer of frost on my deck rails (north side).

I sprayed them down a few times as the sun was rising. When I finally left the house it was 41 deg, when I got out there it was 36 before sunrise when temps normally drop a few degrees, I was super nervous. I have (I don't know how many) plants in the ground, ones I can't afford to lose.

They all look good now though. 75 today, 90 tomorrow, frost this morning. You figure it out. nutz:
