what do you fill your tomato holes with

last year I backed fill my tomato hole with Epson salts. powdered milk.worm castings.compost.garden soil. lots of water and love.I had a great year growing tomatoes. what do guys and gals use in your tomato soil.ricky

bone meal and tomato tone (fertilizer) compost and Mycorrhizal fungi ....

I feed the whole raised bed not just the hole. :)

In the back 40 of the lower ranch, it gets windy here, hourse feathers piles up in great drifts. Once someone was telling me " you should let the lady who owns all thoes horses that you don't like this" I said " I don't like it, I love it''

I send the girls back with the tractor to get a trailer load, than dig it into the earth like Mom and daddy use to do. They would lay the manure on the ground than turn the ground over with a shovel row after row.
This is the first time I've heard it called tomato holes.

My compost and Epsoma, some new stuff they have called Bio-tone® Starter 4-3-3 just a spoon in each hole full of water before plants go in deep with a stick tied up

filmnet, You mentioned you put Epsoma in each hole, is that it? Do you turn over the soil at all?

No I just move the holes in different places, I have a ton of worms, yes I put some Epsoma in holes

I put compost in my whole garden bed not just the holes. I do that every year.

I fill mine with compost a little bone meal, blood meal oh and a tomato. Can't forget the tomato.
