I placed an order today for some tomato plants and one of the offerings was for regular plant and the grafted plant. Is there much of a difference? is this the new way for plants? Just intrested as I have never really have heard of this and this is the 1st time seeing it. One of the tomato plants was a mortgage lifter plant..
Thansk as always..

what they do is use a different root. the root they chose is usually a very aggressive grower and a root that can handle root diseases well. You have to remember to plant them like a rose do not plant a grafted plant deep. plant them the same depth as you received them. your standard tomato yes plant them deep. All in all I like the grafted tomatoes they do really explode out of the ground good luck enjoy.
