Too much light for seedlings

This is my first year for starting seeds and I was wondering about lighting. I have T-8 flourescent lighting set up and was wondering if you can give them to much light. :?

I don't think you can give tomatoes too much light....Heat may be a problem, but never heard of too much light.

I agree cant give too much light in a greenhouse down the road they leave lights on all night long. so all plants get basically 24 hr a day light either sun or bulbs.

You can't give the tomatoes to much light per se but, you can give them the wrong wavelengths of light. What you want is fluorescent grow lights as apposed to regular Fluoro's.

You can also buy regular incandescent grow lights with nifty apprarati that clamp onto any shelving unit that you may have. But, seeing that you already have a fluorescent system set up; you might as well purchase some Fluyorescent grow light bulbs.
