Planted some today

Planted four hybrids today: Brandy Boy, Black Pearl, Sunny Boy and Porterhouse.
My average last frost is still two weeks away, but the extended forecast looks great -- highs in the upper 60s to low 80s, and low temps ranging from 62 to 41. My state's average temp for March has been a record high.
I just couldn't resist putting some in the ground.
Holding off, for now, on putting any heirlooms in the ground. Can I see a show of hands: Wait a little longer, or go ahead and plant 'em all?

I'm not far from you but a bit north. I have been thinking about putting some in the ground myself.I have some seed in the ground not sure if it's going anywhere. Just a test on them.

Good luck. Like you said it has been crazy warm here as well, probably not too different than you. They said the other day that temps we have been having in March could be correlated to being in the top ten warmest Aprils we have on record.I heard 86 on Mon.
