The coloration is such that I can't tell exactly what's going on with the plants. Sorry. Is there a way to get true-color photos?

In the first picture - flowers indeed. But as Cynthia said, it is very difficult to discern the leafs and their stage due to the color...

In your camera, you should have an option to change White Balance in your menu, change it from Auto to the color of your bulbs (Fluorescent?) Even changing WB to "Flash" should get you much closer to the true color.

At this point, from what I can see, plants just look like they are not getting enough light, and no "breeze", just a bit thin and spindly. Happens very often when grown indoors.

D

Yup, the first picture shows flower buds, that will open up into flowers.

And no they don't look "normal," they do look droopy and curled. But without better pictures and without knowing more about your set up and the conditions they are in, it is hard to say exactly what is going on.

Fist pick are flowers.

The plants do not look healthy and it may drop the flowers without fruiting. How much water are you giving them and what fertilizer/s?

What wattage is the HPS light? Is there a fan blowing on the plants?

Looks to me like over watering and excessive heat, but could be a number of things.

Much better, the color is definitely good.

For what it's worth, if I didn't know anything about your growing system, to me, they just look like they are starving for light. Thin, fragile looking stems... Unfortunately, I can't comment on your fertilizer regiment - 20-20-20 though, wow, I'm use to Tomato Tone with 3-4-6...

If you are letting them "pretty dry" then only watering until "a little bit comes out the bottom" that doesn't sound enough to me. Also, I'm wondering with high number fertilizer like that at every watering if there wouldn't be inadvertent concentration.

I read somewhere that commercial growers basically FLUSH the container with the liquid fertilizer.

I've also seen recommendations to alternate with plain water.

I can't speak to either since I only use organic fertilizer.

In any case, when I water, I water until enough water comes out into the saucer that the amount will be mostly absorbed back in by the soil within about 30 minutes. It's a lot more than "a little bit".

IIRC, if the plants were dry the leaves would curl; down for too much water. It's been 10+ years since I've done any indoor growing.

It is starting to look like too much fertilizer. Sounds like Miracle Grow or similar to me. Flush the plants with water for 5-10 minutes each. You want to flush out as much of the salinity and fert buildup as possible. Do not fertilize the plants anymore and let them go for a few days to see what happens. If the plants are looking better after a week or two, pick up some Tomato Tone. Sprinkle a little on top and just water with plain water.
