Great perk to HG! The last couple of years I've bought tomato plants from a local FFH club, but they always have the same standard variety like what you'd find in the grocery store. I have room now to grow my own transplants and am ready for something different than "ordinary." Thanks for offering these!

Online usually works.
Here's one site, but there are many:
https://www.uline.com/Grp_5/Poly-Bags-Reclosable?pricode=WG383&gclid=CKGQx5SZg64CFcUZQgody0pe4w
If you don't want to buy them online, see if there's a place in your area that sells jewelry findings. Call first to see if they have the little bags for sale.

That's funny, huh. You kid wrote them and here I was thinking "he's got the same handwriting as me.webmaster wrote:If the seed packets look like a kid wrote the names of the seeds on it, that's because a kid did. My seven year old helped with writing the names of the seeds.
I got them yestarday. I was not happy at all. Not with you though. The mailman left my door open just a bit. There was snow on it so guess what. I look in and you bet ya the envelope with the seeds is on the bottom in a pool of water. . But luckily the half with seeds in it was out of the water. So all is good, whoooo!
That was a close one, really, only one of the packets had but just a little water on one teen tiny corner.
Thanks Roger.

Anyone's HG Giveaway tomatoes sprouted yet? Mine have been planted 6 days and are not showing yet. I know that's not a whole lot of time, but the commercial hybrid tomatoes I planted at the same time have been up for 3 days already, which has been my typical experience with tomatoes. I haven't done heirloom tomatoes before. Are they usually slower to germinate?
Give it another week it took mine 2 weeks before they came up.rainbowgardener wrote:Anyone's HG Giveaway tomatoes sprouted yet? Mine have been planted 6 days and are not showing yet.
