Is it ok to eat tomatoes with blossom end rot?

Hi,

I found 2 tomatoes today with BER. It is not that bad just a small circle at the bottom. I figure I could just cut it off. Is it safe to eat the rest of the tomato?

The BER looks like this. It looks like the Tomatoes on the left. Just a tiny spot of BER.

The big one will most likely rot out as it ripens, the little one, if it doesn't rot, will ripen early and be low quality...OK for saving seed, and putting into the sauce pot, but I usually go for healthy ones for fresh eating.

If you pick them while they're green you can cut out the rotted parts and fry them or make them into salsa verde
