Hi all, I have some cherry tomato plants and a couple of them are having problems with specks on their leaves. They get the specks, they the leaf turns brown and dies shortly.

I have a feeling this is probably the newbiest of newb gardener questions but I don't know what the problem is!
Thanks!

It happened to some of my tomatoes. It is a fungus, in this stage it is called early Blight. Look it up online.
Clip off all the bad leaves and stems to stop it spreading. If you have a compost bin do NOT throw these bad leaves/stems in it. I am not a tomato expert so I don't know how effective cutting the affected areas is. But I think it helps in stopping the spread somewhat.
