Tomatoes in Question: Beefmaster Hybrid
Food: Miracle Gro Tomato Plant Food
Hey all! I'm a newbie (obviously) and having some trouble with my first tomato plant. Before I continue (and I'll include images), I've researched nearly everything I could and have checked for pests, which I have not found on my plant. It's a potted tomato-plant (apartment life ::sigh::) Initially, when the plant "belonged" to another family member, it was all kinds of diseased. I was able to remove the diseased leaves and "nurse it back to health"..rich green leaves and able to produce some fruit!
However, now my leaves (because it's now MY plant) is starting to yellow around the edges of the leaves, and some have started curling both up AND down..I always water it myself about once every two days, and I do have two AquaGlobes in so that a drip system is established. In Maryland, the weather has been unbearably hot, with a heat index ranging between 107-118 for the past couple of weeks (unheard of over here). I do rotate the plant every day, and it seems that my tomatoes have stopped growing as well as the stem looking slightly odd. Although to be honest, I cannot remember if it looked like that before..when one bad thing sticks out, I tend to notice *everything* then. The two clearly visible tomatoes I have been able to produce are the same size as they were last week, and I see 7 new buddy-tomatoes (I.e. still within the flower) producing, but they have not grown any more for about 7 or 8 days.
I'm including photos, and any help would be great!
