tiny worm-like fungus? advice/information/help?
I discovered this morning on the surface of the soil of my potted tomato plant a fungus that looks like teeny brown and peach worm heads popping out of the soil, all very close together, maybe hundreds of them. Anyone know what this is and if it's detrimental to my plant? I'm assuming it's some kind of fungus, and I know some fungi are actually beneficial to plants..... Also, should I move this pot away from my others? (will it jump to other pots?)
